The Grange

Welcome to The Grange, a beautiful 19th Century listed building, nestled in the Somerset countryside a short drive from Taunton School and Taunton town.

The former holiday home of British Prime Minister Sir Anthony Eden.

During the school holidays, it is made available for hire for a variety of events including corporate residentials, Christian camps, wellness retreats, weddings and bespoke events.

The house features a lounge style drawing room with original wooden panels, and a stunning orangery offering dining facilities that can seat up to 64
The house is home to stunning lawns which are perfect for small marquees or outdoor activities
The Grange is home to a wooden lodge perfect for wedding ceremonies for approximately 60 people, or other bespoke events
Parking is available for approximately 16 cars. School coaches can be hired to transport guests from the main campus car park a short ride away
Taunton School facilities are just three miles away, take advantage of the 56-acre campus facilities including two swimming pools, a gym, beautiful buildings perfect for workshops, conference and dinners
The Grange is a few miles from the town centre where you will find excellent shops, restaurants, cafes, a theatre, cinema and train station.
The house can accommodate 38 guests with 26 bedrooms for females in the Girls House and 26 bedrooms for males in the Boys House.
