How does Swim School work?

We follow the Swim England framework and offer excellent swimmer-to-teacher ratios (from 1:3 for beginners to 1:10 for advanced swimmers) to help swimmers progress safely and confidently. With assistants in the water during the early stages, our Swim School provides extra care, guidance and support from the very first splash.

We offer every stage, every day!

This gives families the flexibility to choose a day that works for them and to keep it throughout all swimming stages.
As children advance through each stage, swimmers earn certificates and badges to celebrate their achievements. Progress can be tracked easily online on our new online booking and management system.

Parents are encouraged to watch lessons from the poolside seating area.

Who can join our Swim School?

Swimmers from 3 years and up.

Our Learn to Swim programmes range from Stage 1-10, aimed at teaching children aged 3-13 years.

Stages are based on the swimmers ability and confidence in water, from getting started in Stage 1 and swimming independently in Stage 2, to learning to dive in Stage 6. Discover more about swim stages below.
